Santa needs some help getting ready for Christmas and has invited Miles City and area families to give him some assistance.

On Saturday, Dec. 16, families are invited to come to Santa’s Workshop in the WaterWorks Art Museum (WAM) at 85 Waterplant Rd. Activities are from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and the cost is $5 per family, which includes supplies, holiday snacks and beverages.

“Please call us at 234-0635 so we do not have everyone showing up at the same time,” said Dixie Rieger, executive director of the art museum.

Rieger added, “Families will be making different ornaments with Santa’s helpers at several workshop stations. They can take them home to decorate with or give them as presents.”

The workshop stations will be set up around the WAM and it will take each family from 30-40 minutes to go through all of the stations.

“We encourage that the whole family comes for the workshop,” said Rieger. “The kids are so excited to show mom and dad what they’ve made. The whole family is involved. It’s really cool. The kids are so proud of their work.”
