Morgan and Christian Bowe

In the summer of 1992, recently graduated Custer County District High School student, Heidi Kransky answered an ad to be a nanny in Los Angeles. Little did she know her accepting that job would spark a series of life choices that resulted in her marrying Los Angeles resident Todd Ross in Miles City just two years later, having three children, their middle child, Morgan, born at Holy Rosary Hospital, all as a result of answering that newspaper ad in the Miles City Star.

Morgan’s family moved back to the Los Angeles suburb, Thousand Oaks, on her second birthday. She attended Calvary Community Church as a youth where she met her future husband, Christian, at Sunday school. They remained acquaintances up through the middle of high school when they became boyfriend and girlfriend.

After Morgan moved to Austin, Texas, to explore living away from home and gaining experiences in a new state, Christian proposed to her on Christmas Eve 2017.

Morgan and Christian Bowe were married in Bend, Oregon on May 7 at an Airbnb, surrounded by immediate family including Christian’s parents, Kevin and Lori Bowe; his brother, Chad; Morgan’s parents and her brothers, David and Blain; her grandma Debbie Waterman; and her grandparents, Miles City residents Richard and Claudia Kransky.

After their honeymoon in Hawaii, the newlyweds returned to their home in Pullman, Washington, where Christian is pursuing his career path to be a veterinarian and Morgan continues her passion to work with children as a preschool teacher.
