Next Journey Gospel Quartet to perform Sunday at First United Methodist Church

Star Staff

The Next Journey Gospel Quartet will perform Sunday during the worship service at the First United Methodist Church, 24 N. 11th St. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. and is open to everyone.

This is the second time Next Journey has performed at the church. The ensemble was in Miles City last July.

The quartet was formed in 2001 by four Billings men who love the Lord and praise Him in song, according to a news release from Next Journey. The members of the group — brothers Terry Larson and Cam Larson, Michael Jewell and Aaron Roberts — do not charge for their concerts. They rely on offerings and all proceeds received goes back into that ministry.

Terry is the Recreational Vehicle rental manager at Pierce RVs in Billings. He sings baritone in the group. He and his wife, Mellody, have two grown children and six grandchildren.

Cam, who sings bass, sells manufactured and modular homes for Big Sky Homes. He and his wife, Holly, have two grown children and three grandchildren.

First tenor Michael Jewell, is a respiratory therapist at Billings Clinic Home Oxygen. He and his wife, Debbie have three children.

Aaron Roberts sings second tenor and is the newest member of the group, joining in 2006. He is a music teacher at Skyview High School in Billings. He and his wife Cherish have three children.
