What’s Happening

Walk With the Cross on Friday — The annual Walk With the Cross will be Friday in Miles City. Starting at 11:50 a.m. walk participants will begin gathering in front of the First Presbyterian Church at 1401 Main St. The walk begins promptly at noon with participants carrying a cross and traveling down Main Street to Riverside Park where the cross will be set up and remain until Easter Sunday. There will be a short devotional service, led by Pastor Joe Dauben of the Cross and Spurs Cowboy Church, in the park. This event is open to the public.  

Preschool screening on April 5 — A preschool screening for children five years of age and younger will be Thursday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church, 512 Cale Ave. Areas to be evaluated by professionals will include fine and gross motor skills, speech and language, vision, hearing, and concepts and reasoning. The service is free to those who are residents of Miles City School District and Custer County whose children are not attending kindergarten. Appointments are required.
