Licht and Toennis united in marriage

Megan Licht and Joshua Toennis exchanged vows of marriage during an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.

The bride is the daughter of Jennifer and Howard Best and Bradd Licht, all of Miles City. She is the granddaughter of Harlan and Peggy Nelson, Don and Ginger Johnstone and Larry and Elda Licht. Mark and Sandi Toennis, also of Miles City, are the bridegroom’s parents. His grandparents are Pat and Aggie Toennis and Terry Grasky.

Fr. Garrett Nelson officiated at the ceremony. Autumn Toennis, sister of the bridegroom; Mary Wambolt; Marie Layton; and Bart Freese provided the music for the wedding. Matthew Nelson was the reader. Ushers were Tyrel Toennis and Nik Tsirigotis.

Kylee Licht, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Autumn Toennis, Jordan Lemelin, Kassidy Gran, Katelin South and Danielle Willson. Ellie Toennis and Blakely Nelson were the flower girls.

Keith Rigney was best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Nelson, Stephen Sturtz, Colby Toennis, Jake Toennis and Alex Bluhm. Ring bearers were Grayson Huber, Aadon Harwood and Lincoln Harwood.

A reception, with dinner and dancing, followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 2013 graduate of Custer County District High School. She is in employment transition.

A 2012 graduate of CCDHS, the bridegroom is a 2016 graduate of Montana State University in Bozeman with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is employed as an engineer for Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

The newlyweds are planning a wedding trip this year. They are residing in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
