LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Show some respect for graves

Editor,

On the night of Sept. 29 or Sept. 30 solar lights were stolen from our son’s grave site (Nik Dean) at the Custer County Cemetery.

A willow tree and two flowers plus a star was cut off.

This may not mean much to anyone else but it does to us. Plus, a stone was set on our son’s bench which was taken from some other grave. This is very upsetting and disrespectful.

I hope the thieves who stole these items feel good about what they’ve done. Obviously you lack guilt and respect and knowing right from wrong. These lights cost us money but for you thieves nothing.
