When Joe returned, he married the love of his life Connie June Jaeger on September 7, 1954. In the early years they moved to Fargo, ND for Joe to attend Barber School. They moved to Lemmon, SD where Joe barbered. Finally, they settled in Miles City, Montana and started their family. They had 4 wonderful children; Randy, Debbie, Jim, and Rick. Joe continued to barber on the same corner of Main Street for over 40 years. Joe was an icon at barbering and made thousands of Miles City men and the surrounding communities more handsome with their fresh haircuts from Joe. He also barbered for veterans at the Veteran’s Hospital. Joe was also an active member in the Elks for over 50 years. He met most everyday with the men’s coffee club at Big Sky Pharmacy.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, his sister and two brothers.
