HRH Hospice to hold annual ‘Light up a Life Ceremony’ on Nov. 30

The holiday season — a time of year when families gather together and share their traditions, is approaching and some families will be missing loved ones during their gatherings becuase of illness or death.

Holy Rosary Healthcare (HRH) Hospice’s annual “Light Up a Life Ceremony” offers members of our community an opportunity to honor their loved ones who have overcome an illness or died.

This year’s “Light Up a Life Ceremony” and tree lighting starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the HRH Chapel at 2600 Wilson St., according to a news release from Holy Rosary Hospice.

Remembrance luminaries to honor loved ones during the ceremony may be purchased for $10 by calling the hospice department at 406-233-3810.

More information about HRH’s Hospice services also is available by calling the hospice department or visiting holyrosaryhealthcare.org.

During the ceremony, a remembrance table will be set up in the chapel.

Each person attending is invited to bring a memento or photo in honor of his or her loved one to be placed on table during the event.

Following the ceremony, according to the news release, there will be a time for fellowship and conversation. 

Soup, bread and desserts also will be served.

The Holy Rosary Healthcare Hospice department offers medical, emotional and spiritual services that enable people facing life-limiting illnesses to live with dignity, comfort and compassion until the final moment.
