A group of students and teachers that have gone to Washington D.C. or plan to go to Poland stand in front of the plaque dedicated to Eva Kor in the CCDHS gymnasium lobby
The plaque dedicated to Eve Kor hangs in the gym lobby at the high school. The money to buy the plaque was donated by a number of local businesses and organizations, which inlcudes Milestown Community Improvements, Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation, Miles Community College, Miles City Kiwanis, Miles City Rotary Club, Stockman Bank, Mid-Rivers Communications, Stevenson & Sons and the L.P. & Theresa Anderson Foundation.
During the first Sip ‘n Paint fundraiser in January, John Tooke presented information on the Poland trip he took a student on last year through the Candles Museum and Education Center. Tooke with the help of Keely Perkins plans on doing more Sip ‘n Paint fundraisers.
