CCDHS coach Paul Yoakam applauded the efforts of both teams.

“The boys ran really well,” Yoakam said. “Cooper ran his best race of this season and is starting to run up front.

“Steven competes hard and is always a dependable third runner for us. Taegan moved way up and was our fourth runner. Anthony finished as our fifth runner as our boys had their best meet in a long time despite missing Zach Austin.”

“Both Morgan and Rissy (Hagemeister) continue to improve,” Yoakam said.  “Heather, Jentry, Anne Marie, and Sally improved on their placing and will continue to improve every meet.”

Next on the schedule is a trip to Fergus (Livingston) for an invitational at 10 a.m. Friday.
