Entries are being sought for the Lip Sync Contest fundraiser sponsored by the United Christian Church (UCC) members. The deadline for registering for the event is Wednesday, July 26.

The competition will be Saturday, July 29, in the outdoor “bowl” at the WaterWorks Art Museum, according to a UCC news release. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the contest starts at 7 p.m.

Admission for non-participants is $1 with a maximum charge of $5 for a family.

Contestants with a flair for fun and drama are being sought. Group or single entries are welcome. Costumes are encouraged. Entries are limited to the first 20 individuals or groups to apply by completed registration and $5 payment.

Registration forms may be picked up at the Miles City Area Chamber of Commerce, 511 Pleasant St., and the Miles City Public Library, 1 S. 10th St. They also are available by calling Toni Gaglia at 951-1948 or Julie Reinhart at 234-2997. Questions also may be directed to Gaglia or Reinhardt.

The audience will determine the contest winners by casting monetary votes for their favorite act or acts. In this contest, multiple votes are highly encouraged.

A grand prize and runner-up awards are planned.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event will go to the UCC for community outreach projects.
