Custer County Planning Board agenda — The Custer County Planning Board will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Emergency Operation Center in the basement of the Custer County Sheriff’s Office. On the agenda are call the meeting to order; roll call; public comments on matters not on the agenda; disclosure of conflict of interest; approval of minutes from the Aug. 8, 2017 meeting; new business of election of officers, Steve Muggli minor subdivision approval, Roger Muggli minor subdivision approval and by-laws update; and unschedule matters or concerns. This meeting is open to the public. Dollars for Scholarships Phone-a-thon starts tonight — The 27th Annual Custer County Educational Foundation’s (CCEF) Dollars for Scholarships Phone-a-thon starts tonight and continues through Tuesday. Between 7 and 8:30 each evening Custer County District High School (CCDHS) juniors and seniors will call on Miles City residents for their support. Funds raised during the event are designated for the Dollars for Scholarships program sponsored by CCEF to award scholarships. Any contribution of any size puts CCDHS graduates one step closer to reaching their educational expectations. Anyone not called during the event may still make a donation by mailing it to the Custer County Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 1092, Miles City, MT 59301 or donating online at the Web site at milescityscholarships.com. More information also is available at the Web site or on Facebook.

District 1 — Breakfast

All breakfasts are served with Grade A milk.

Nutrition tip: Practice stealthy health — sneak veggies into favorite foods. Go light on the meat and top your pizza with vegetables like tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and artichoke hearts.

Tuesday — Cereal, Danish, Mandarin oranges and juice.

Wednesday — Breakfast bar, string cheese, craisins and juice.

Thursday — Cereal, Go-Gurt and apple.

Friday — Cereal, string cheese, applesauce and juice.

Miles City School

District 1 — Lunch

All lunches are served with fat free and 1% milk. Two vegetables are served daily.

A full salad bar is served daily as a second option at Washington Middle School.

Tuesday — Biscuits and gravy, string cheese, peas, fresh veggies fruit cup and treat.

Wednesday — Hot dogs, chips, baked beans, salad with ranch dressing and pineapple.

Thursday — Turkey sandwich, string cheese, salad with ranch dressing, carrots and mixed fruit.

Friday — Classroom Lottery.
