Downtown Urban Renewal District Agency Board of Commissioners’ agenda — The City of Miles City’s Downtown Urban Renewal District Agency Board of Commissioners will meet Friday at 10 a.m. in the Miles City Hall Conference Room. On the agenda are call to order; new business of strategic planning for Fiscal Year 2017-2018; public comment; and member roundtable.

Fall Festival and Scavenger Hunt to benefit Miles City Head Start — The first Fall Festival and Scavenger Hunt, presented by Miles City Head Start, will be Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in Riverside Park. Registration for the scavenger hunt starts at 9 a.m. and the hunt ends at 3 p.m. The winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m. at the park. There also will be games, face painting, a bouncy house, hay ride and food. The cost per child for entry and lunch is $10 and the cost per adult is $5 for lunch only. The entry fee for the scavenger hunt is $40 per team of 4 individuals with a charge of $5 for each additional person. All proceeds will go to help fund the school to provide the children with needed supplies for the classrooms, new books, a tablet for each classroom and more.

Range Riders Reps, Range Riders to meet Wednesday — The Range Riders Reps will have their final meeting Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. in the Pioneer Memorial Hall at the Range Riders Museum. On the agenda are final business items for the group and a discussion about the Chocolate Confectionary, which will have booths at the Moonlight Madness Fall Festival event on Thursday, Oct. 19, on North 9th Street from 4-7 p.m. and the Christmas Stroll on Friday evening, Dec. 1. The Reps’ meeting will be followed by a joint potluck with the Range Riders. The Range Riders will have their meeting at 7 that evening, also in the museum’s Pioneer Memorial Hall.

Miles City Woman’s Club meeting Saturday — Members of the Miles City Woman’s Club will meet Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Airport Inn. Among the items to be discussed during the meeting will be this year’s Children’s Christmas Store. This meeting is open to all present and past members of the group and anyone who is interested in learning more about the organization.
