Public Safety Committee agenda — The Public Safety Committee will meet Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in the Miles City Hall Conference Room. On the agenda are request of citizens; and review and recommend action on Ordinance No. 1313 an ordinance revising section 16-48 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Miles City, so as revise provisions regarding the use of fireworks within the city limits. Public comment on any public matter that is not on the agenda of this meeting can be presented under Request of Citizens provided it is within the jurisdiction of the city to address. Public comment will be entered into the minutes of this meeting. The city council cannot take any action on a matter unless notice of the matter has been made on an agenda and an opportunity for public comment has been allowed on the matter. Public matter does not include contested cases and other adjudicative proceedings.

Cancer Survivors Dinner on July 14 — The Relay For Life Survivor Dinner 2017 will be Friday, July 14, in the Pioneer Memorial Hall at the Range Riders Museum. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner starts at 6 p.m. This event honors cancer survivors. All cancer survivors who would like to attend the dinner should contact Miranda Hurr at or 406-233-4022 by Tuesday.

Cook Off committee to meet — Members of this year’s Miles City Cowtown Cook Off Committee will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Fidele Dent.

Relay For Life Committee members, team captains meeting Tuesday — Members of the Relay For Life Committee will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in room 106 at Miles Community College. Relay For Life team captains  will meet Tuesday in the same room at 7 p.m.
