Crews flushing, testing and painting fire hydrants — The Miles City Fire/Rescue crews are out flushing, testing and painting city fire hydrants this summer. Allow the crews to work efficiently and effectively. Keep areas around the hydrants clear of obstructions and debris.  Fire hydrants are located on city right of way and are city of Miles City property. City crews have legal authority to access and maintain fire hydrants. Your cooperation is appreciated. For questions or concerns call 234-2235.

Community fundraising event Monday — The Miles City Kiwanis is partnering up with a Kiwanis member-owned business, Tilt Würks Brewhouse & Casino, to have anight of fellowship. This event is open to the public and everyone is invited to join the group at Tilt Würks. Twenty percent of all food and beverage sales from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. has been earmarked by Tilt Würks to be donated back to the Kiwanis administration account that funds guest meals, recruitment, retention and marketing efforts … necessary to assure the organization continues doing great thing for Miles City and the surrounding area. Flower show Saturday — The third biannual Standard Flower Show with the theme of “Timeless Garden Bounty” will be presented by the Miles City Garden Club on Saturday at the Sleep Inn, 1006 S. Haynes Ave. Entries will be accepted from anyone wishing to enter the event starting at 8:30 and continuing through 10:30 a.m. There are no entry fees. The free public show will be open for viewing from 1-4-p.m. Free refreshments of cookies, coffee and water will be available.
