Dance at Drop-In Center — A dance with music by the Southeastern Montana Fiddlers will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Drop-In Center. This dance is open to the public.

Rock’n MC Brew Fest is Saturday — The Rock’n MC Brew Fest will be Saturday at the Eastern Montana Fairgrounds. The brew festival will be from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall and there will be a concert in the Grandstands from 6 to 10 p.m. Milestown Community Improvement, Incorporated and the Kiwanis members will partner for a fund-raising Rock’n MC Brew Fest BBQ, featuring Bad Ash BBQ of Miles City, starting at 6 p.m. in the Grandstands area. Proceeds from the barbecue will go to the Eastern Montana Court Appointed Special Advocates/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL). 

Coal Board grant applications due Tuesday — The next Coal Board meeting is Friday, Sept. 22. Grant applications to be reviewed by the Coal Board at this next meeting must be submitted no later than midnight on Tuesday. Applications can be submitted electronically to DOCCB@mt.gov, but must be received by midnight Tuesday; or can be mailed to the Department of Commerce but must be postmarked no later than Tuesday. Applications can be mailed to Montana Coal Board, Community Development Division, Department of Commerce, P.O. Box 200523, 301 S. Park Ave., Helena, MT 59620-0523.
