Annual 'Breakfast With Santa' set for Saturday

The Friends of the Miles City Public Library will host the 12th Annual Breakfast With Santa on Saturday.

Breakfast will be served in the Range Riders Museum’s Pioneer Memorial Hall from 8-11:30 a.m. The hall is in the back of the main log building on the museum grounds west of Miles City just past the Main Street bridge over the Tongue River.

“It’s the best Christmas breakfast in town,” said Sonja Woods, director of the Miles City Public Library. “Whether you’re a child, have children or not, it’s a great event to enjoy. It also will help you get into the magical spirit of Christmas.”

Santa will attend and have special treats for everyone.

Woods said it’s fun to see children realize that Santa has to eat breakfast, too, adding the event is a great place to take photos of children of all ages visiting with Santa.

“Come have breakfast with the man in the red suit before he finalizes his Nice List for this year,” said Hannah Nash, children’s services director at the library.

On the menu are pancakes, eggs, sausage and a choice of coffee, juice or hot cocoa. Tickets cost $5 and are available at the door.

Woods added that this is a good time for members of the Friends of the Library group to renew their memberships for 2016. Dues are $5 and current members or new members may pay them at the breakfast or at the public library during business hours.

“The Friends of the Library members work to support the many projects at the public library,” Woods explained.
