UM offers new timeline on African Americans, Montana Justice System

The history of African-American Montanans’ relationship to state law and the criminal justice system is now available in an easily accessible form thanks to the work of a graduate of the University of Montana’s African-American Studies program.

Honor students named at Sacred Heart Parish School

Eighty students at Sacred Heart Parish School were named to the third quarter honor roll for the 2017-2018 school year. Of those students, 15 received 4.0 (straight A) grade point averages for the quarter, according to a news release from the school. Those students are 6th grader Taylor Gallo; 5th graders Ellie Goff, Ella Hogan, Greta Tooke and Sylas Smith; 3rd graders Ava Flotkoetter and Karlee Wambolt; 2nd graders Callie Donnelly and Delilah Strong; and 1st graders Rori Donnelly, Mya Flotkoetter, Laney Frieboes, Ted Jeffers, Cody McPherson and Adelaide Strong.
