Wesley Mark Selby, 58, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in Miles City.
Mr. Selby was born May 25, 1955, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Wesley T. and Betty Selby. He was a gentle, kind, intelligent, artistic man with a ready smile and sense of humor.
He will be so fondly remembered as our very proud, sensitive, hardworking father, brother and uncle. He left us much too soon. May his precious soul rest in peace.
Mr. Selby lived, raised his sons and worked for 31 years in Greeley and Denver, Colo., as a graphic designer and printer.
In 2003 he moved to Hamilton, which he called home, then on to Miles City in 2010. His C.N.A. work in Montana was so highly regarded by both the residents and his co-workers as among the best. Mr. Selby had so many guardian angels by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beautiful cat, Silky.
His survivors include his two dearly loved sons, Nathaniel Selby of Washington, D.C., and Ely Selby of Denver, Colo.; siblings, Peggy Loftfield (Earl) of Albuquerque, N.M., Thomas Selby, and Laurie Stanton (Paul) of Hamilton; five nieces; and a nephew.
There will be no formal services, but a family memorial is planned for this spring to celebrate Mr. Selby’s life.
