A Miles City man found Friday afternoon died of exposure in his car, according to Custer County Undersheriff Pat Roos.
Roos said Wesley Mark Selby, 58, was homeless and living in his car. It was parked behind the storage units behind Notbohm Motors.
He was found around 6 p.m. Friday, after having been seen alive less than 24 hours before. Thursday night’s low temperature was 27 below zero.
Mr. Selby was employed at Wal-Mart. He also was previously employed as a certified nursing assistant at Friendship Villa and at one point was honored as employee of the month.
Roos said “alcohol was definitely a factor,” but he didn’t know to what extent.
