5:30-9:30 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Judges Class, Montana Bar Banquet Room, 612 Main St.
Friday, June 13
6:30 a.m. — Montana Stockgrowers Association Mid-Year Meeting registration with coffee and donuts at 7 a.m., Miles Community College.
7:30 a.m. — MSGA Land Use & Environment Committee and Members Development & Services Committee meetings, MCC.
8 a.m. — Meat inspection for Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off begins, event set-up site on North Sixth Street.
10 a.m. — MSGA Opening General Session, MCC.
11:15 a.m. — MSGA Ranch Tour bus departs from MCC parking lot with following stops: 11:30 a.m. Ranch Tour luncheon at Fort Keogh with 12:30 p.m. tour of Livestock & Range Research laboratory; 2 p.m. Range Riders Museum tour; 3:30 p.m. WaterWorks Art Museum tour; 4:15 p.m. Optiblend Industries Ranch tour; 6 p.m. Ranch Tour dinner at Eastern Montana Fairgrounds (open to the public).
5 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Cook’s Meeting with Kansas City Barbeque Society rep and distribution of judging and vending containers.
8 p.m. — Bellamy Brothers Concert with opening by Copper Mountain Band, $20 advance tickets, $25 Gate, 8 p.m., Eastern Montana Fairgrounds.
9 p.m. — Street Dance with Copper Mountain Band, Texas Club; and Daniel and the Blond from Red Lodge playing at the Trails Inn.
11 p.m. to 6 a.m. — Quiet time for Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off contestants.
Saturday, June 14
6:30 a.m. — Research and Education Endowment Foundation of MSGA (REEF) Pancake Breakfast.
7:30 a.m. — MSGA registration, Coffee Station and Beef Production & Marketing Committee meeting, MCC.
8 a.m.-4 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Poker Run, begins with registration at Explicit Choppers, 408 N. Seventh St.
9:15 a.m. — MSGA business session.
10 a.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off judges and table captains meeting, Trails Inn/Mama Stella’s.
10:30 a.m. — MSGA “Old Times” Parade (all horse/livestock — no motorized vehicles), Main Street.
Noon — Miles City Soup Kitchen concession opens; Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off judging begins with turn-in of chicken at noon, pork ribs at 12:30 p.m., pork shoulder at 1 p.m., brisket at 1:30 p.m., corner of Sixth and Main streets.
12:30 p.m. — MSGA Tailgate Lunch hosted by the Young Stockgrowers, Eastern Montana Fairgrounds.
1 p.m. — Miles City Ranch Rodeo, Eastern Montana Fairgrounds.
1-5 p.m. — Miles City Cosmetology Reunion, Town and Country Club.
2-5 p.m. — Southeastern Montana Fiddlers, Range Riders Museum’s Pioneer Memorial Hall.
3:30 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Awards Ceremony, Trails Inn/Mama Stella’s
4-9 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Public Tasting with vendors, sampling, food, drawings, silent auction, entertainment, Main and Sixth streets.
4-8 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Silent Auction, Montana Steakhouse.
5-9 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off Bike Show, 500 block of Main Street.
5-7 p.m. — Mosquito Festival Jump House for children, face painting, games, and more, Veterans Memorial Park in 600 block of Main Street.
5 p.m. — Music by Milestown Bluegrass Band.
7 p.m. — Caledonian Dancers, downtown; and Flag Day Celebration, Elks Lodge.
7:30 p.m.-midnight — Mosquito Festival Street Dance with “Daniel and the Blonde,” great country with fiddle and washboard, 600 block of Main Street.
8 p.m. — Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off silent auction closes and all items must be picked up by 9 p.m., Montana Steakhouse.
9 p.m. — Close down of Miles City Cowtown Cook-Off and clean up.
