Almeada Fogle, 88, of Jordan died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her home in Jordan, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Fogle was born in Jordan on May 31, 1926, the daughter of Thomas and Isabelle Clark Johnson. She attended Kester Country School and graduated from Garfield County High School.
She married Earnest Fogle on Oct. 16, 1946, in Miles City. To this union, nine children were born. Once her children were in school, Mrs. Fogle worked as a teacher’s aide and county librarian until she retired.
She devoted her life to her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and to her church. Everyone else always came first in her life. Family gatherings were always a great highlight in her life.
Mrs. Fogle is survived by her children: Earnest (Sandy) Fogle of Jordan, Judy Amos of Post Falls, Idaho, Lyle (Kathy) Fogle of Gillette, Wyoming, Robert Fogle of Glasgow, Tom (Cheryl) Fogle of Jordan, Steve (Laurie) Fogle of Corvallis, Oregon, Keith (Patti) Fogle of Glasgow and David (Julie) Fogle of Lewistown; a sister, Ida Quinlivan of Tacoma, Washington; brothers-in-law, Kenny (Alice) Fogle of Jordan and Gale (Margaret) Fogle of Gillette, Wyoming; 34 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest; two brothers, Dick Gagnon and Hirth Gagnon; a daughter, Elaine Nelson; and numerous extended family members.
A Vigil service will be Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 3 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 23, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Rite of Committal will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery.
