Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative, Inc. offers local telephone services to subscribers throughout the Miles City telephone exchange. Where Mid-Rivers' facilities are not available, Mid-Rivers will offer resale of another carrier's services.
Mid-Rivers also offers two low-income telephone assistance programs as outlined on page 11 of our 2015 Montana/Dakota regional telephone Directory.
Lifeline provides Federal Universal Service support to reduce monthly service charges paid by qualifying low-income residential customers. Link-up provides Federal Universal Service support to reduce service connection and line extension charges paid by qualifying low-income residential customers residing on Tribal Lands. Eligibility standards for the above programs are determined by the Federal Communications Commission and state commissions.
