The Miles City Star offers both free and paid obituaries. Free obituaries have no photo and follow a standard newspaper format. Most of the obituaries visible on this page are examples of that format. Paid obituaries include a photo and wording of your choice and are billed at the open rate of $7.45 per column inch.

  Richard Lowell Carlson, 70, of Miles City, died on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at the Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City. Mr. Carlson was born on Nov. 21, 1944, in Alexandria, Virginia, the son of Cleo and Irena Holmquist Carlson. He grew up in the Truman, Minnesota, area on the family farm.
